Twelve minutes of oxygen. Six seats. Three survivors.
Three weeks ago, a crew of contract miners stole a freighter and ran from the mines of F8. Out in deep space they caught a faint navigation signal promising an old colony with supplies. Mara, their pilot, changed course. The ship broke apart in orbit.
Now three of them are sitting in a half-buried escape pod on K-7, a rust-red planet with no breathable air, watching the life support lights tick down one by one. Good news: they're alive. Bad news: everything else is just details.
Lastlight Colony is a cozy idle colony builder about making every breath yourself. Strip the wreck for scrap, cobble together an oxygen scrubber before the air runs out, grow algae that tastes like wet cardboard ("That's called umami"), and build a pressurized camp so everyone can finally take their helmets off.
Six chapters take you from a single crashed pod to a domed city under the stars, ending with a choice: light an orbital beacon that tells the whole system you're free (and tells someone else exactly where you are), or finish a ship of your own.
Keep everyone breathing: oxygen first, then food, then a colony that keeps growing
Story dialogue with hand-drawn, expressive character portraits and voiced chapter openings, plus a colony log kept by Juno, the youngest survivor
Trade with the Magpie, an independent merchant who drops cargo containers from orbit, and build a ship one module at a time
Send expeditions, piece together blueprint fragments, and unlock alien technology nobody quite understands
Defend against raids, patch up the wounded, and decide whether to work with the corporation or stand against it
Hold a building to gather by hand, assign colonists, and research a tech tree
Pixel-art colony that grows from a lone crashed pod into a domed city
Play in English, 繁體中文, Deutsch, 日本語, Español or Português
