Fireflore Project is an interdisciplinary initiative that explores how immersive technologies can reconnect people with nature and biodiversity. Through VR storytelling, the project invites audiences to reflect on human–nature relationships and the environmental changes affecting wildlife habitats. Its first experience, Firefly Memories, guides visitors through immersive spaces that move from a childhood garden to the city and into the forest, highlighting the quiet loss of species and ecosystems. Developed by the Fireflore Project Team in collaboration with XR artists, researchers, and conservation organisations, the experience is designed as an open-access world on VIVERSE, accessible via PC, smartphone, or VR headset.
