Bringing the virtual presence of renowned pianist Yuja Wang to audiences around the world, the immersive, mixed reality installation Playing with Fire offers a new perspective on the classical concert experience. In the experience, the artist’s chosen repertoire and her virtuosic gestures generate visual worlds that push the boundaries of musical performance. Playing with Fire creates a fascinating dialogue between the physical and the digital, where sound becomes image and space comes alive through creative interpretation. Yuja Wang’s recital in Playing with Fire highlights the evocative power of music, where every note—like a spark—ignites the imagination.
